• Swap-body specialist Archer Engineering of Leeds has won orders for 100 shutter-ended steel drawbar bodies from Scandinavian customers.
Fifty of them are destined for parcels carrier Tollpost Globe.
Archer is also developing curtained and GRP sliding-sided prototypes for overseas clients. A curtainsided swap body, which uses South field's drapes, is destined for a German operator. A Norwegian haulier has ordered the 7.8m sideopener which has three doors on each side to give full access.
