Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A VAN will be the key to the operation of a £100,000 programme by Ford to help disabled people who wish to drive. It will do much to solve the problem of assessing their suitability for training.

At present they have to go to Banstead Place Mobility Centre in Surrey to find out, which few can do. Instead, the van, with electronic assessment equipment, will go to the people, starting in Norwich next spring and continuing to at least nine other centres in England, Scotland and Wales.

Ford is also providing an Escort car to give practical experience and to enable people who have driven to be tested on the road. This is just one of the various ways in which the company helps the needy.
