WHEN the propeller shaft of a burs of the Birmingham and Midland Motor Omnibus Co., Ltd., sheared at the front coupling, the conductor was dragged into the hole in the floor and had to be cut free. His right arm and shoulder were caught by the shaft and be was taken to hospital.
A Ministry of Transport examiner said that the accident was a xnillion-toone chance.
