recently, a colleague of the Hawk was sufficiently distracted by the piped music played while waiting to be connected to wonder what the tune was. It sounded like Frosty the Snowman, but the woman who answered the phone believed it to be Hail the Conquering Hero. Possibly that's a clue to the style of general secretary Frank Griffin's campaign if, as anticipated, he stands for reelection next year.
