• Ford and Boalloy have won Design Council recognition in the Motor Industry section of the 1987 British Design Awards.
Congleton, Cheshire-based Boalloy has been selected for its recently-launched Seven5Liner range of light-middle weight truck bodywork.
This is the third commendation the company has received in the past 10 years.
Ford's latest Transit van range was also given an award by the Design Council. The new Transit, product of a 2.400 million investment, was launched in January last year.
