The inspiration must stem at ast in part from the parent imoany in Holland, whose care
for disabled workers has won them the first social policy prize to be awarded by Elsevier Weekly. The five judges, who included two professors, hope that other companies will be encouraged to follow DAF's splendid example.
The prize money of Hfl 5,000 (C923) is to be given to the Gospel and Industry Foundation in Eindhoven to finance a study of the position of the disabled in Dutch society.
