WHEEL DOLLY claimed to peed up and take the strain out f handling cv wheel assemblies nd tyres, has been introduced y garage equipment specialist eel Automotive Equipment td.
Designated the WD100, it can andle all tyres ranging from .00 x 15 to 12.00 x 24. The main .ame of the unit is made from quare tubular section steel, and le carriage assembly features )ng-life needle bearings. Heavy luty rubber-tyred castors are tted as standard.
A single offset support column ; used to ease access to the hub nd bolt circle.
For safety, a top clamp not mly does away with the need or chains and prevents the vheel assembly from moving luring transfer, but also pro/ides the extra grip necessary vhen the brake drums hang up.
Other features of special note include a facility to crank the complete carriage assembly backwards to simplify aligning the dolly.
