THE VALUE of new leasing bus ness last year stood at 14 pc cent, even allowing for inflatio and the recession, according t figures issued by the Equipmer Leasing Association. The statil tics point to a considerable ii crease in the cv field, althoug car business declined. JOH DURANT reports.

What these figures cannot dicate is whether the increase cv leasing would have happen if companies had been able afford to buy lorries.
