Oanufacture is beginning immediately in in of the German-designed MAFI i-Lift for transporting and stacking conrs. manufacture every item of MAFI equipment ordered in Britain. These include the patented Rolltrailer system designed for roll-on/roil-off transport of containers by sea-ferries. Standing only 20in. high when stationary, these trailers allow maximum use of storage capacity.between decks. Any tractive unit fitted --'un the goose-neck attachment can tow the
trailers simply by coupling to either end—a one-man operation. Loading or unloading a ferry with a totally containerized cargo can be completed in two to four hours. The MAFI hoist transport for shipyards and the range of low loaders and heavy duty trailers will also be built at Mansfield along with the 10ft and 20ft rigid-based flats.
