Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE THEFT OF two high-value loads has prompted the Freight Transport Association (FTA) to make an appeal to drivers to be more security-conscious.

Geoff Dossetter, external affairs director at the FTA, says: "Drivers should exercise good judgement and adopt security measures not only to protect the security of their load, hut also to ensure their personal safety."

The call comes after a red Scania tractor unit and its red articulated trailer containing 3,000 cases of whisky were stolen from the Europa Worldwide Logistics depot in Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire at llpm on 15 August.

Police are also investigating the theft of 19 pallets of electrical tools from a Daf 1-IGV parked overnight at Hemingford Abbots, Cambridgeshire.
