Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• UPS UK moved quickly last week to reassure customers that it is "business as usual' following the end of the 15-day strike in the US.

A tentative deal has now been struck between US union Teamsters and UPS, with the parcels giant agreeing to switch 10,000 part-time jobs to fulltime positions over five years. Hourly wage rates will rise by up to 36%.

Last week the Transport & General Workers Union warned that it would be monitoring the situation in the UK, where the number of part-time workers is understood to have risen sharply over the past few years.
