• British Commercial Vehicles for the World is the title of a buyers' guide just published by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, Forbes House, Halkin Street, London SW1, price lOs net. It is a booklet version of the guide to truck, van and bus specifications, bodybuilders and vehicle and trailer manufacturers published each year in Commercial Motor's special issue devoted to the manufacturing industry.
Dump trucks and battery electric road vehicles are included in this comprehensive review of chassis and their principal characteristics—e.g. wheelbase, payload, gross weight, engine type and output. gearbox, braking and tyres.
