• A timber merchant and a french polisher were each granted an 0 licence by the North-Western LA, Mr C. R. Hodgson, in Manckster on Tuesday.

Mr H. Hope, a Preston timber merchant, was granted a five-year 0 licence for one 10-year-old vehicle, having satisfied the LA that adequate maintenance arrangements had been made with a local garage.
