• The £39,000 Wallasey—Birkenhea cross-dock traffic warning scheme, whic will indicate to drivers which of the thre routes across the docks is subject to leaf delay, should be completed in Octobe There will be eight signals on Birkenhea approach roads to the docks, and seven i Wallasey.
The opening of the second Merse Tunnel and its approach road is expected t ease considerably the flow of cross-doe traffic because traffic from the Wallase side will have direct access to Liverpof without crossing the docks,
