Latest addition to the 39-strong fleet of Albany Laundry, of Southend, is this Commer KC 25 fitted with a Coachwork Conversions Maxivan body. It was supplied through Holmes and Smith Ltd, Basildon. Ample space for the type of skips used by the laundry is provided in the light and durable body.

This picture, taken at the Wembley depot of Primeat (North London) Ltd, shows (left) one of the three domestic delivery vehicles for frozen foods recently delivered by J. H. Sparshatt and Sons Ltd. Alongside it are two of the platform body vehicles used by the company to deliver up to 400 home freezers per week.

This 1800gal tanker has been built by Fergussons (Motor Engineers) Ltd, of Portsmouth, for Richard Smith Ltd, of Glasgow, who use it for delivering industrial solvents made by ICI. Built on an Albion Super Reiver RE33 AT (plated at 20 tons gvw), the tanker has dual pressure/meter/hose reel delivery equipment within the rear compartment.

Built by Locomotors Ltd, Mitcham, Surrey, this mobile laboratory is one of three delivered recently to Pipeline Testing Services Ltd, Worcester Park. For on-site work and weighing just over 2 tons it can be lifted by crane or helicopter as well as being towed in the normal way.

With an internal capacity of 885.5 cu ft and an unladen kerbside weight of 8 ton 19cwt, a payload of 13 tons plus is claimed to be legally feasible for this Bopen Roadliner type C13/AEC Marshal bulker—reckoning animal feed in bulk at 35Ib per cu ft. Supplied through Arlington Motor Co Ltd, Harlow, the vehicle has pneumatic discharge equipment with a Godfrey blower and Edbro tipping gear. The body is based on an outrigger sub-frame to give low loading and overall height.
