Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

at Earls Court this year, the Southampton firm of Highway Trailers will have some interesting trailers on its stand, not the least of which will be a tandem-axled unit fitted with Goodyear Super Singles and a new type of spring. These are basically of the same d;mensions as conventional leaf springs, made up of a number of leaves, but in this case they are a solid, one-piece unit 3 in. wide by 2.5 in. maximum depth. The springs conform to the general shape of the multi-leaf standard version. With a carrying capacity of 20 tons, the dimensions of the semi-trailer are 26 ft. long by 8 ft.

Also to be shown by Highway will be a step frame, tandem-axled semi-trailer of 16-ton capacity and equipped with MultiwheeIer axles. With a lower deck height of 3 ft. 3 in. and an upper deck height of 4 ft. 7 in. overall length is 26 ft. and the width is 8 ft. The suspension is standard Rubery Owen No-Hop tandem, and the tyre equipment Michelin X 8.25-15. A Thompson 3-ton vertical winch is mounted on outriggers forward of the upper deck in such a way that it can be removed to accommodate awkward loads that may need to overhang the front end of the trailer.
