Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE new single-decker bus which

Glasgow Corporation Transport is introducing for experimental one-man operation will be exhibited on the stand of Walter Alexander and Co. (Coachbuilders) Ltd. at the Commercial Motor Show. It will be mounted on a Leyland Panther chassis.

Although 36 ft. long, the Alexander body will seat only 42 passengers in order to provide reasonable seating accommodation when the bus is used on one-man duties, whilst providing a substantial space for standees when the bus is required for peak period duties. Specification will include fixed windows, ventilation being provided by a Smith's fresh air system, employing ducts running at cant rail level on each side of the body.
