AT a meeting on Tuesday of the executive committee of the National Organizing Committee of the Lorry Driver of The Year Competition it Was announced that 238 drivers would be taking part in the final at Bramcote on September 13. Walkie-talkie radiotelephones and a radio control van will be available to the organizers and sideshows at the event will include roundabouts, a junior grand prix (organized by the Birmingham police) and a motorcycling display.
Appreciation was accorded to an offer in use the Liverpool centre's venue for future finals, which will be considered at a later meeting.
