Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

DAs a change from producing a Trucker's Atlas including roads not yet built (the A14 between Kettering and the M1-04 24 February-2 March) the Automobile Association has been busy compiling a chart of motorway debris.

Here goes: 1. Exhaust pipes 2. Tyres 3. Sofas 4. MoT-failure cars 5. Used nappies 6. Cigarette butts 7. Cigarette packets 8. Sweet wrappers 9. Bottles 10. Tin cans It seems incredible that more sofas are discarded than cigarette packets or sweet wrappers. Action is needed—this is not the sort of problem the Department of Transport can afford to sit on (Ouch—Ed).
