• Pepsi-Cola will use Volvo trucks for distribution in Eastern Europe. Some 600 F1.614 and FL618 models have been ordered; the first 250 have already been delivered and Volvo is discussing further orders for use in Poland, Hungary, Russia, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
• The AA has ordered 58 Leyland Daf 45.150s for its Relay fleet. The crew-cabbed vehicles have rear air-suspension for passenger comfort and are fitted with slide-back bodies and an under-car lift.
