Autolease, the vehicle leasing and contract hire company, has appointed Trevor Jones managing director. He has 20 years experience in the industry and had previously been sales director and deputy managing director with Autolease.
• JOHN DEE GROUP BAR KE R/POWELL/WH ITE John Dee Group, the distribution and transport specialist based in Ferryhill, County Durham, has made three appointments. Paul Barker becomes group development manager. A former Great Britain ice hockey international he was formerly commercial manager for KW Devereux, the Teeside road haulier. Colin Powell becomes general manager of John Dee Southern, a new subsidiary in Greenford, Middlesex. He has been 15 years in the industry and previously worked in Saudi Arabia as a transport manager. Malcolm White is the new manager of another subsidiary, John Dee North Western, based at Altham, Lancashire, and has been in transport management 22 years.
