Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Frigoblock has produced a quieter version of its F1(25L overcab refrigeration unit that is claimed to have operating noise levels of below 50dB(A).

The FK25SL unit with its external evaporator has a refrigeration capacity at return-air temperature of around 3.0kW at —20°C to 30°C and a 3.8kW heater rating within an air capacity of 4,000m3/hr. With the alternator, its 346kg weight is little different from the existing model; the reduction in noise is due to the electric motor's slower operating speeds and improved insulation around the freezer unit.

The new design has not yet been fully tested to the ATP's standard, but Frigoblock believes it will meet the requirement. It is expected to become available to UK operators later this year. The first FK25SL is being handed over to the Dortmund, West German supermarket chain REWE next month.
