Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

US-FIRED indirect warm-air heaters which meet the requirements of the new Gas Council Draught Regulations have been introduced by John Colinsons Ltd.

They are suitable for use with town or natural gas and the method of mounting burners enables inter-changeability with pressure jet oil burners. Other refinements include extruded aluminium, individually adjustable outlet grilles and an easily detached control box which houses the main electrical components.

An improved multi-vane centrifugal fan has been fitted and the fan motor ratings increased by 50 per cent to allow extended ducting to be fitted to the units.

Radiant heat losses are said to be low, and with high temperature rise of the circulating air. High-level discharge from the "free standing" models ensures that air is directed away from people near the units.

When heat is required from the unit, a control thermostat switches on the burner. After ignition and upon a definite temperature rise in the unit, a circulating fan is automatically switched on resulting in an immediate supply of warm air.
