from ICI Fibres Ltd., Industrial Uses Department, Hookstone Road, Harrogate, Yorks. This shows at a glance the approximate breaking strength and weight of ropes made from ICI nylon, Terylene. Ulstron and Spunstron. It gives the circumference in inches and the corresponding diameter in millimetres.

Weight is given in both pounds per coil (120 fathoms) and kilograms per 100 metres, and breaking strengths are shown in tons and kilograms.
