AThere are many sources from which such
information could be obtained but as an initial step you could contact the librarian of the Institute of Transport at 80 Portland Place, London WI , for details of books on road transport and for information on the activities of that Institute. Correspondence courses run in connection with the examinations of the Institute are available from Pitman College of Transport, 29 Pitman House, Godalming, Surrey, and Transport Tutorial Association Ltd., Ealing Technical College, London W5.
