• The boys done good! The winners of CM's 1990 38-tonne Fuel Economy Run (CM 20-26 September) collected their spoils last week.
Above: Volvo Trucks (Great Britain) managing director Bernt Brandtzaeg (right) receives the awards for Best Overall Economy and Best Overall Productivity (won by the FL10) from CM editor Brian Weatherley. Team drivers Jeff Bird and Chris Evans hold their individual trophies for Best Fuel Class Two and One. Evans also won Best Productivity Class One.
Above: at the Motor Show it was Leyland Dafs turn. The 95.400 won Best Economy and Productivity in Class Three, while the 95.360 took Best Productivity in Class Two and was runner up in Overall Productivity.
