• Concargo has been bought by its management and is closing its insulated panels business, making 16 redundant, "because of the downturn in demand for insulated bodies", says sales director Nigel Brown.
Concargo will continue to manufacture GRP mouldings. LI Lincolnshire bodybuilder Metalair has bought Steventon Engineering of Didcot, which specialises in tanker rebuilds and builds around 20 new units a year.
Steventon has ended its agency agreement with Spitzer tankers and Steventon's head Ken Fisher will become sales director at Metalair.
