a party of operators on a customer liaison trip from Dover to Dunkirk last week owing to a strike by dock workers at the French port. One said: "It's not only the British who have strikes, then," but they were able to take a trip despite this and look around the line's latest ro-ro ferry, the Seafreight Freeway, a 5,000-torme vessel with a carrying capacity of 69 15metre vehicles. This vessel adds to capacity on the route, a fast alternative to Belgium using the short Ghyvelde "corridor" through France without using a French quota permit, operational all the week except on Sundays between 1600 and 2000 hours.
