• Sheffield-based Tuffnells Parcels Express has just taken delivery of 33 new vehicles, in an order worth more than £1/2million.
The new vehicles comprise 30 Dodge G08s worth a total of £450,000, and three Volvo FL1Os worth £33,000 each.
The Dodge box vans will be used for collection and delivery duties from the Tuffnelts depots at Ashford, Andover, Avon, Carlisle, Felling-on-Tyne and Thetford.
The Volvos will be based at Ashford, Andover and Lanark and will be used primarily for long-haul trunking work.
All the new vehicles will be painted in Tuffnells livery.
