OPERATORS using the M6 during Motor Show times are being advised of special lanes for lorries, as a way of alleviating congestion.
Between 8am and 2pm on Friday, October 17, and Monday, October 20, to Friday, October 24, lorries will be diverted on to the centre lane of the motorway when heading south between junctions five and four.
Cars will be diverted on to the hard shoulder and left-hand lane.
As signs cannot be covered over outside these periods drivers are asked to use their discretion when traffic is less busy.
