Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

IN a surprise move Renault Trucks and Buses have announced that they are to launch a PR100 single-deck city bus onto the British market at the NEC Motor Show.

Powered by an inclined rearmounted naturally aspirated sixcylinder Renault engine producing 138 kW (185 bhp) at 2400 rpm, coupled to either the Voith D851 or Wilson semi-automatic gearbox the 16-ton bus boasts a 359mm (11/2in) step length.

The 5.6m (11.8ft) wheelbase bus is the first Renault psv to be announced for the UK market and is to be shown at Birmingham in order to gauge the reaction of British psv operators.

The bus is intended to compete with Leyland's National 2 and will mean further problems for Britain's already declining domestic city bus market.
