W. STONIER and Sons Ltd, Stoke-on-Trent, is not fit to hc psv licences, according to t West Midlands Traffic Comm sioners, and has had all 18 of licences revoked.
Commissioners' chairman / thur Crabtree said this last we when he also revoked one of t eight licences held by Byr Bros (Leek) Ltd, but took no e tion against the parent col pany. Berresford of Cheddleti (CM, September 13).
He said the problem probat had its root in the distance t tween Berresford's head offi and Stonier's premises, and to account of the company's pla to relocate by the end of t year.
It was not a permanent rev cation. New licences would granted as soon as the vehicl met the vehicle examiners' sta da rds.
