FOLLOWING the military coup in Turkey, operators are now faced with the problem of not being able to use their vehicles in the country during curfew periods.
The curfew times are gradually being reduced, but it is thought that currently an 8pm to 6am curfew is effective in the Eastern part of the country while in the Istanbul region there is a six-hour curfew from midnight to 6am.
Advice and information is given to drivers at border points when entering Turkey. The Foreign Office expects visitors to "exercise caution",
