The Department of Transport inounced this week that three dditional permits will be alio cated from the special quota to British hauliers who make at least three journeys every quarter year for four consecutive quarters on the Rollende Landstrasse services between Cologne and Munich or vice versa.
The International Road Freight Office will automatically notify operators if they qualify at the end of each quarter, starting in December 1980.
All special quota permits, including those to be allocated under the new scheme, are available only for journeys terminating in West Germany, and not for transit traffic.
