Conditions for Welsh haulier
SWANSEA-BASED South Wales Pallet Network has been given the green light to run six vehicles and two trailers subject to the following conditions: • there will be a nil defect daily driver reporting system; • all authorised vehicles and trailers will have a rolling road brake test every three months; • maintenance systems, maintenance documentation and vehicle inspections will be audited by an independent agency every six months; • all authorised vehicles will have a thorough and effective pre-MoT inspection; • all tachographs will be independently analysed; • director Ron Smart will attend an operator awareness seminar; • any application for a new transport manager is to be referred to the Ofice of the Trafic Commissioner (OTC); • contract of employment for current nominated transport manager to be forwarded to the OTC.
