Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Some individual garage mechanics have expressed concern 3bout the new product liability law as if it exposed them personally to new liability in some way. This concern is largely ill-founded. Obviously, every mechanic and other garage employee should exercise all possible care when carrying out a repair. However, the garage as employer will be liable for the acts or emissions of its employees, when these are committed in the course of their employment. This is all unchanged by the new law. No individual employee will be treated as the supplier of a product for the purposes of the Sale of Goods Act, Supply of Goods and Services Act, or Consumer Protection Act 1987.
