has introduced the Standofax bodyshop scheduler, a planning and information system.
The aim of the scheduler is to show, at a glance, how the work in progress is planned to flow through the bodyshop, highlighting bottlenecks.
Unlike the card index system which only charts progress of a specific job, the scheduler lets the bodyshop manager see the progress of the whole shop in advance. The scheduler is an aid to accurate costing because estimated hours are written on it and any variance to the plan can be seen immediately.
The Standofax bodyshop scheduler incorporates an easyto-use calculation of the efficiency of workload planning, giving a percentage utilisation figure, week by week.
