Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

axle manufacturers listed below we take issue with the higher wheel nut fastening torques advocated in the recent IRTE press release.

We recommend and totally support the use of ISO spigot wheel fixings in preference to cone seat fixings. There are many factors which affect optimum torque levels, and therefore we cannot support the adoption of a single wheelnut torque across all wheel fixing types as suggested.

As responsible manufactur ers we strongly advise that operators of our equipment should work strictly to the relevant recommendations which specify a range of torque settings particular to each type of fixing method.
