FLEET TRACING • The Foxgrove vehicle management system (CHOICE), originally developed to look after the BBC's fleet, has been upgraded and is being remarketed as TRACE (Transport Asset Control Environment).
Trace Systems (UK) of Coventry claims TRACE can link in with fuel management, accounting and perhaps tachograph systems. The price starts at £3,000 and it can be customised without the need for special software.
The new system will hit the market this month, and users will have the chance to upgrade the original Foxgrove system.
