Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• The key features of the new arms-length division of London Buses, Suttonbus (due to start operating on 29 October) have been announced by London Regional Transport.

A rationalisation of buses is planned in the MordenWimbledon-Putney corridor so that services will be provided on one trunk route with increased frequency. Shorter routes will be introduced to improve reliability of service to Morden Underground and to other areas such as Sutton Common.

New links between residentail areas and town centres will be formed and new services brought in will include a link between the Eastfields Estate with south Wimbledon and Wimbledon town centre.

An extensive publicity campaign will promote these changes, with every household in the area receiving a leaflet about Suttonbus. Timetables will be available on the buses, and roadside sites will be posted with details of changes.
