• Refrigerated trailer unit maker Therrnoking is to launch a multi-lingual European helpline, offering hauliers breakdown assistance, says Thermoking (US) vice-president Dick Pedtke, speaking at a Transfrigoroute meeting last week.
Transfrigoroute said it was designing a training programme, with the Freight Transport Association, for drivers and customers. Chairman Graham Eames said it would be structured around the association's code of conduct.
