• Scania will be extending its series 3 UK tractive unit lineip from next spring with two lew models.

The existing R113 tractor :.ange with the 11-litre charge:ooled DSC11 engine rated at 225,248 and 260kW (306,333 Ind 354hp) will gain an extra nodel with the 232kW (316hp) DSC11-16 engine, which has a aeak torque of 1,340Nm

(9881bft) at 1,200rpm.

It will be badged as the R113MAR 320 and sold as either a 4x2 or 6x2•twinsteer, or 6x2 tag-axle tractor.

All three will only be available with the double-bunk R sleeper cab, although a Topline R cab will be optional.

Kerbweight for a 4 x 2, R113MAR 320 is given as 6,241kg. All models are fitted with the Scania GR871 10speed range-change box.

The second newcomer is designed for Category 2 Special Types work. Designated the R113HL6x4R 360, it is powered by the DSC11-13 engine rated at 260kW (354hp), with a 10-speed gearbox driving a double-drive bogie with singlereduction axles. It is plated at 80,000kg GCW.
