KASSBOHRER (UK) took two of and Automobile Manufacturers during the Motor Show (see p74) Judges deemed the Setra S210HDI to be the best singledecker of standard or high floor configuration with a price of the complete vehicle not exceeding £80,000. The silver award in this category went to Hestair Duple's Integral 425.

The best double-deck coach with a price not exceeding £100,000 was judged to be the Leyland Olympian double-deck which took the gold. No silver was awarded in this section.

Kassbohrer's second gold medal was won in the class for coaches without a price limitation and went to the doubledeck Setra S228DT double-deck coach. MCW took the silver with the Metro-Hi-Liner integral coach and a special award was made to Bova for its black JPS executive Futura FHD.
