Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

drawn our attention to the article Will fibreglass bodywork burn? (CM, September 15).

We would like to make it clear that all the fibreglass material used in our Deansgate public service vehicles has been tested to BS 3532/1962 and also BS 353/1965. The resin used is a self-extinguishing grade of pOlyester resin and thus the fire hazard is practically nil.

We believe that this letter will clear up any doubts that p.s.v. operators have with regard to the Deansgate bodywork.

J. H. WILLIAMS, Director, Williams Motor Co. (Sales) Ltd.
