Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE DUTCH rubber company Vredestein International is to enter the UK tyre market. Franchise holders for London will be Albany Tyres Ltd., and names of regional franchise holders will be announced soon.

A company spokesman said last week that the decision to enter the UK market was "a logical outcome of the British application to enter the EEC".

Vredestein's factory at Enschede now produces 10,000 tyres a day for truck, agricultural, car, military and off-road applications. The range of tyres is very wide.

The company claims it will not enter a price war with domestic producers but will "sell on a policy of quality and service".
