TOTAL OIL has launched RUBIA TIR, a premium engine oil for turbocharged diesel engines in lorries.
The SAE 15w 40 oil has undergone extensive field trials and has been classified as an SHPDO (super high performance diesel oil). It is claimed to extend oil drain intervals, retain its viscosity characteristics over extended periods while minimising cylinder bore glazing.
