TRANSPORT secretary David Howell has made Peter Cox a member of Dover Harbour Board from January 1, 1983.
Mr Cox is a senior partner with the firm of Rendel Palmer and Tritton, consulting civil engineers, and his appointment follows the retirement of Sir William Harris and the consequent promotion of Sir Frederic Bolton to chairman of the Board.
