Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THIS week's batch of Applications and Decisions brought no information of outstandingly big applications; there was, however, no shortage of the twoand three-vehicle " bread and butter" type of application. Several of those notified were attempts to convert contract A licences.

A slightly unusual normal user was that declared by I.F.M. (Developments) Ltd., of Lye, when applying for three articulated units, on a new A licence, to the West Midland Licensing Authority. They want: Collection Of goods from docks, as required on behalf of importers, to own stores as agents, and redistribution as required, on the instruction of importers; goods collected within 50 miles to docks. as required on behalf of exporters."

Four Eastern area bids seek, by way of A variations, to switch vehicles from 13 to open A licences, offering to surrender the Bs. if granted the variation.
