The latter goes up from £36 15s. to £45 and the rate for subsidiary companies from one guinea to £2 (to include the first 25 vehicles operated). The vehicle rates for subsidiary companies and vehicles over 200 operated by maximum subscribers has been altered from 25s. for each 50 vehicles to 15s. for 25.

THE commercial vehicle manufacturers of Sandbach, Cheshire, E.R.F. (Holdings) I.td., have acquired the whole of the share capital of E.B. (Staffs) Ltd. of Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, specialist manufacturers of glass-fibre mouldings.

For the past two years E.B. (Staffs) have manufactured glass-fibre mouldings for use in the cabs of E.R.F. lorries. In addition E.B. manufacture motor car bodies and materials for the building industry and the electrical supply industry. At present about 30 people are employed, hut in the near future the company will move to larger premises in nearby Biddulph in order to accommodate expansion in staff and production.
