18-seater Saloon Coach. Coach. Bus and Fire-engine.

WIVE exhibits are shown by these ..12 famous makers, and the one which will, perhaps, attract the most attention is the remarkably fine 18-seater saloon coach. This is mounted on a 30-cwt. chassis and is a most luxurious vehicle, finished in black and yellow. A V. fronted screen is provided, which • enhances the general appearance, and tho seats are upholstered in antique leather. A feature of interest is found in the provision of pfieumatic cushions, which are remarkably comfortable. Two doors placed near the front on each side give access to a gangway, running between the seats. The tapering bonnet merges into a curved scuttle, the lines of which sweep outwards to the full width of the vehicle. Adequate window space is provided and there are two neat venti• lators in the roof. Electric-lighting equipment of Brolt manufacture is fitted, there being two headlamps, two side lamps mounted on the wings and a tail lamp, in addition to three interior lights; one of these 'is situated near -to
the centre of the roof, while the other two are neatly placed in corners. The chassis is equipped with detachable disc wheels and pneumatic tyres, duplicated tyres being fitted to the rear wheels.
Two other passenger vehicles are shown, these being an attractive motor coach seating 20 passengers, which is mountedon a 25 h.p. chassis, and a 25-seater pay-as-you-enter single-deck bus. The 20-seater coach is similar in
appearance to a large touring car and has a very attractive outline. Pneumatic tyres are fitted to this model, while the 25-seater is equipped with single solids at the front and double solids at the back.
Another interesting exhibit is a fireengine of 150-250 gallons capacity, this being mounted on a 25-cwt. Guy chassis. The equipment includes a ladder and chemical extinguishers, and the ,model shown has been sold to the Ashbourne Urban District Council. Lastly, there is an 18 h.p. 15-20 cwt. chassis, fitted with
a neat box van. The driver is adequately protected by a windscreen at the front and curtains with celluloid panels at each side. Access to the interior of the van is obtained through large double door's at the back, and also through a small door situated behind the seat in the driver's compartment. This vehicle is fitted with pneumatic tyres and is capable of rapidly transporting loads in the neighbourhood of 1 ton.
